The course is aimed at managers of industrial sites such as food, pharma, distilleries, laundry, etc that potentially work through the night with limited staff.

They must understand the dangers present, know the correct procedures in the event of a situation and have an understanding of their legal obligations from such documents as the factories act, PSSR and the HSE document INDG436.

Managers looking after the site do not need to know how to operate every piece of equipment but they must understand what the actions taken should look like. This is why site delivery of the course is essential.
